On 25th September 2023, Academy of Language Studies (APB) UiTM Cawangan Pahang has successfully organized MyReview Challenge for Standard 6, book-loving students from SK (Felda) Jengka 10. The objectives to inculcate the love of reading English books and build confidence in English communication were timely achieved when the participants unleashed their inner storyteller and shared their thoughtful insights in this creative book-review competition.

As 15 students joined this literary adventure, unlocking their creativity and boosting their English language skills, some really fiery talents have been spotted on stage. Congratulation to Amniya Nur Imanina Md Azli who won the first place in the competition. Siti Nurul Ain Suhaili Ahmad Sabri emerged as second place winner and Muhammad Insanudin Mahamad Azmi won the third place.

MyReviewChallenge was a resounding success due to a huge commitment from the committee members and few notable names like Puan Nurul Jannah as the Programme Director, Dr. Roslina Abdul Azizi as the Head of Department of Academy of Language Studies UiTM Cawangan Pahang) and Pn. Hajah Zahalina , the Headmistress of SK (Felda) Jengka 10).

Special thanks to the guest judges En. Amir Hamzah & Pn. Aminah for their amazing contribution in making sure the competition ran smoothly and also the participants and teachers for their active participation.

As a result of APB’s aspiration towards achieving SDG 4 & SDG 17’s goals, the programme has been the fourth instalment since it was first introduced in 2020. We are looking forward to witnessing the next wonderful bunch of little bookworms and wordsmiths sharing their passion and inspirations on stage.
