JENGKA, 10th June 2023 – The Malaysian University English Test or MUET can be nerve-racking to many students. In order to minimize the test anxiety, it is thus imperative for them to be exposed to test- preparatory activities like the MUET Seminar, organized by the Academy of Language Studies (APB), UiTM Cawangan Pahang. Held on June 10th, the seminar was conducted by a MUET expert, Madam Salina Ishak from Kolej Matrikulasi Kejuruteraan, Jengka who has many years of MUET teaching and examining under her belt.

The five-hour seminar, mainly attended by the UiTM Jengka students, discussed the four MUET papers – Writing, Speaking, Reading and Listening. Students were given tips to ace all the four components with sample papers compared, analyzed and discussed. A Q & A session was held at the end of each slot, with students taking opportunities to direct their concerns relating to MUET preparation, test arrangement and others.

It is hoped that a seminar like this can be continuously held to assist students in their MUET preparation. We also hope that students will continue supporting our program. To all MUET candidates, we wish you the best of luck!
