On March 8th, 2020, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Sharipah Ruzaina Syed Aris from the Department of Science Education, Faculty of Education, had addressed the audience of Flexible Education (FlexEDU) Seminar on Transdisciplinary Academic Programme. The seminar was organized by the Pusat Pengajaran Pembelajaran Universiti, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) at the EDC Hotels and Resorts, UUM.
Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Sharipah was one of the key speakers at the seminar and, in her speech, she focused on the Future Ready Curriculum Framework for Higher Education. Paving towards this future-ready curriculum, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Sharipah highlighted the elements focused by the curriculum-related agencies such as the Ministry of Education and the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) in the development of transdisciplinary curriculum.
Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Sharipah Ruzaina Syed Aris’ portfolio as the Deputy Dean Academic at the Faculty of Education and the then Director of Academic Affairs Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) had enabled her to accumulate vast experience in curriculum development and accreditation process.
