Call for Participants: Hybrid Workshop on Application of NMR Spectroscopy

It is our pleasure to announce that the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universiti Teknologi MARA Cawangan Selangor Kampus Puncak Alam, offers Hybrid Workshop on Application of NMR Spectroscopy.

The objective of the course is to teach the advanced aspects of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, which is an important and versatile analytical tool in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry for high qualitative and quantitative information. The topics to be covered will include Quantitative NMR, Two-Dimensional NMR Techniques, The Nuclear Overhauser Effect (NOE), Spin-Echo and Polarization Transfer, NMR Metabolomics and The Role of NMR in Drug Discovery and Development. The scope of this training includes advanced data processing for analysis/publication purposes using Topspin3/Topspin4, MestReNova software.

This course is taught at the advanced level and is intended to serve pharmacists, chemists and biochemists working in the research institutes as well as in R&D departments of pharmaceutical, and biotechnology industries, though the topics covered are of equal benefit to chemists working in other fields.

This course is appropriate for individuals with a good general chemistry education. This course was designed specifically for those who are working as researchers confronted with chemical structure problems.
