We extend our warmest congratulations to researchers of Universiti Teknologi MARA, Kedah Branch for their appointment as a Kedah Cashless Roadmap Consultants by the Kedah State Government and Payments Network Malaysia (PayNet).

Their appointment marks a significant milestone in promoting the adoption of cashless payment systems among the state’s population, with the goal of transforming Kedah into a cashless society.

With a funding of RM 65,000.00, UiTM researchers have been given three months, from February 12 to May 12, 2023, to outline the roadmap towards Kedah Cashless. This may includes implementing e-wallet systems, introducing QR code payments, and establishing cashless payment ecosystems across various sectors.

Their appointment as Kedah Cashless Roadmap Consultants is a testament to their expertise and dedication to driving innovation and progress.
