Sixteen remarkable ideas, products, and inventions developed by our dedicated staff have received the prestigious grants of patents and utility innovations from the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO) through UiTM’s Business Innovation and Technology Commercialization Centre (BITCOM). Patent registration stands as a crucial safeguard, shielding the inventors’ creations from exploitation or replication by others. This milestone not only propels ideas towards potential commercialization but also ensures the protection of the inventors’ names.

Among these innovators is our Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Innovation), Prof. Ts. Dr. Norazah Abd Rahman, whose groundbreaking inventions include the titles ‘Microwave Assisted Pyrolysis Assembly for Pyrolytic Oil Extraction and Method Thereof’.
