Shah Alam, September, 2023 – The Academy of Language Studies at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam in collaboration with SK Raja Muda Sek 4, SK Seafield 3, SK Kampung Jawa (2), SK TTDI Jaya, and SMK Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh has successfully conducted the University Social Responsibility (USR) and Knowledge Transfer Program (KTP). This program involved Japanese, Mandarin, Arabic and English classes for the Language Sustainability Programme (PKB) as well as choral speaking, poems recitation and speech classes for the Adopted School Project (PSA). It is held starting 9 September 2023 (Saturday) from 9.00am to 12.00noon. It will be held for four months from August to November 2023. The schools that involved are SK Seafield 3, Subang Jaya and SK Kampung Jawa (2), Klang.

This program aims to cooperate in terms of teaching and learning in foreign languages especially English and Malay languages, to collaborate in terms of research between staff from two institutions and also with APB students, to collaborate for the improvement of language assessment instruments, and to organize seminars, workshops, forums and others between the two institutions. Congratulations to all the lecturers involved from JBAE (Japanese, Mandarin and Arabic Language Unit), Department of Malay Studies and English Language Department.
