KOTA SAMARAHAN, 30 SEPTEMBER 2021 (THURSDAY): UiTM Sarawak Branch will publish the Journal of Smart Science and Technology (JSST). Journal of Smart Science and Technology is an international, open access, peer-reviewed journal, capitalizing on inter-disciplinary research streams, which will be instrumental in promoting digitalization and intelligentization of a variety of devices, sensors, systems, and buildings with adaptive, resource-efficient, and ergonomic features. It will benefit scholars, researchers, and practitioners worldwide in terms of knowledge-transfer methodologies, innovative strategies, publications as well as sustainable practices in the smart topics of science and technology.

Journal of Smart Science and Technology (JSST) aims to cover a broad spectrum of smart topics in the fields of science and technology with specific research areas that include but are not limited to smart materials, materials data science, construction and building materials, smart building, structural health monitoring, smart devices and applications. There are two issues per year that will be published in March and September, respectively. This journal will be published as an electronic journal. It offers a free publication fee to all authors. The journal will be published in the English language with UiTM Press as the publisher.
