Global Outreach Program: MASMED extends a warm welcome to delegations from Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar), Jakarta

Akademi Pembangunan PKS & Keusahawanan (MASMED), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) warmly welcomes to Universitas Tarumanagara (UNTAR) for an educational beneficial benchmarking visit, aimed to fostering collaboration and enhancing ties between two esteemed academic institutions. The visit, which took place on February 22, 2024, was led by Dr. Kurniawan Setiawan S.Sn., M.Hum. (Dean), Agus Danarto, M. Ds (Sekprodi DKV), Toto Mudijo, M.Hum (PiC), and Dr. Siti Nurannissa, PB (Dosen FSRD, DKV).

UiTM warmly welcomed the UNTAR delegates, led by Ts Dr. Rohana Zur, the Director of the Entrepreneurship Development Center. The MASMED team members present included Ts Dr. Maslina Abdul Aziz, Head of the Studies & Research Department, and Ts Wan Zamani Wan Zakaria, KPSK Entrepreneurship Coordinator.

The benchmarking visit ends with an interesting tour of MASMED’s Business Unit and Business Incubator. The primary objective is to promote collaboration on business ideas, share knowledge, and employ effective methods to support new businesses. This immersive experience equips the UNTAR delegation with a comprehensive understanding of MASMED’s multifaceted approach to entrepreneurship.

Moreover, the delegation receives an extensive overview of available research grants targeted at supporting entrepreneurial activities. This aspect of the benchmarking visit is designed to encourage collaborative research initiatives that can have a significant impact towards entrepreneurial growth and economic sustainability.

The benchmarking visit ends with an interesting tour of more places, checking out MASMED’s Business Unit and Business Incubator.
