The October 2021 – February 2022 semester has brought about a fresh and interactive format to ETSA’s first activity of the new semester under the lead of Miss Ivanatasha Abdul Majid (Programme Director). ETSA’s Meet & Greet 2021 was live-streamed via the Faculty of Education’s official YouTube channel: EDUTube: Faculty of Education UiTM on 29 October 2021 (3.00pm-5.30pm).

ETSA’s Meet & Greet 2021 aimed at ensuring all UiTM TESL students are briefed upon by the ETSA’s High Committee members of all the activities planned for the semester. Feedback and responses from ETSA’s members were also welcomed and recorded for further improvements to the activities planned.

ETSA’s Meet & Greet 2021 also saw the Head of the Arts and Humanities Dept., Dr. Wan Nurul Elia Haslee Sharil, the TESL programme coordinator, Dr. Mazlen Arepin and ETSA’s advisor, Ms. Munirah Mohd Izam conveying their thoughts and wishes for the successful run of all activities to set into motion for the semester. The 3 academicians also conveyed some words of wisdom and encouragement for all TESL students to better manage their studies emotions, and mental health during the ODL mode.

The event also included an appreciation segment for the former batch of ETSA’S committee members for the 2019/2020 session led by Mr. Amir Farouq (President) and Miss Siti Zaleha (Vice-President). ETSA’s Meet & Greet 2021 ended with a hype as all attendees are then surprised with a special Kahoot! Quiz session that offered 3 main cash-prize winners and 17 consolation cash-prize winners.
