In celebration of the work of designs produced by students of the design studies programs, we present to you, DSGN.Ed 2023i, a collection of design showcases, textile and fashion shows starting from 13th – 26th February 2023.
DSGN.Ed 2023i is the brand for the series of design-based showcases and shows of all the program academics under the wing of Design Studies, College of Creative Arts, UiTM Shah Alam. Dr. Natrina Mariane P. Toyong, Head of Study Centre, Design Studies initiated DSGN.Ed for the purpose of maximizing impact in terms of promotion and exposure of the niche areas offered by the respective academic programs. DSGN.Ed offers a range of content comprised of demonstrations, industrial engagements, art markets, exhibitions and fashion shows.
All the projects have designated focus on innovation and sustainability of the design ecosystem. The integration of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) especially SDG 11 and SDG 12 in the research and development process, manifested through the realization of prototypes. All the designs produced by students are compiled digitally for the first DSGN.ED catalogue, which will be available on the online platform called Kreatif Nusantara by Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak for public view.
