March 22, 2022: UiTM Perak Administration Office has organized a promotion course named “All Star Pathway To VK7”.

This promotion clinic was held to explain the procedure and process of promotion indepth to potential candidate for Professor VK7.
The Course Objectives is as follows :
1) Provide information and promotion guidance to participants.
2) Facilitate applicants in the preparation of promotion through MyATP system & Istaff portal system.
3) A knowledge sharing session between speakers with the participants.

This course also aimed to achieve the Quality Objectives of UiTM Perak Branch where the ratio of Professors (VK7 and DM54) and Lecturers is 1:25 by 2025. The participants are among 9 academic staff who have been in the position of Associate Professor (DM54) for three years or more during the current year. The session also discusses the mandatory requirements, online assessment as well as hands on keying in information in the e-compliance system and interview preparation tips.

The briefing was delivered virtually by Mrs Jona Hidayati Qamaruzzaman, Senior Deputy Registrar and Prof Ir Ts Dr Hj Mohd Nasir Taib, Director (MITRANS) from UiTM Shah Alam Selangor through the Webex platform. At the end of the program, participants are fully equipped with information required to chart their career path beginning this year and hopefully it helps to increase the number of Professor in the campus.
