SHAH ALAM, March 14, 2025 – A delegation from the Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations (IDFR) visited the Faculty of Administrative Science and Policy Studies (FSPPP), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam on March 13, 2025, to enhance strategic collaborations.
Led by IDFR Director General Dato’ Syed Mohamad Bakri Syed Abdul Rahman, the delegation met with FSPPP Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr Nor Hafizah Mohamed Harith.
“The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration in academics, research, and human capital development,” said a UiTM spokesperson.
Discussions focused on collaborative teaching by Dato’ Syed Mohamad Bakri, who is an Adjunct Professor at FSPPP, and potential research collaborations, including journal publications and research grants.
“The Director-General expressed his commitment to conducting ambassadorial talks for students and collaborating on academic publications,” the spokesperson added.
The meeting strengthened strategic partnerships between FSPPP and government agencies and promoted knowledge-sharing initiatives.
The meeting concluded with an Iftar session at Hotel UiTM, Shah Alam, attended by UiTM Vice-Chancellor Professor Datuk Ts. Dr. Shahrin bin Sahib @ Sahibuddin.
“This engagement provides invaluable exposure for students to real-world diplomacy and strengthens research collaboration for quality scholarly work,” said the spokesperson.
