PAHANG, March 6, 2025 – The Academy of Language Studies UiTM Pahang Branch (APB UCPh) successfully conducted a webinar on “LCC402 CGCT: Writing and Presenting a Field Report” on January 3, 2025, aimed at improving students’ field report writing skills.
The two-hour webinar, held in the afternoon, featured Dr. Anis Nadiah Che Abdul Rahman from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) as the guest speaker and involved 49 UiTM Pahang Branch students.
Moderated by Mr. Khairul Firhan Yusob (APB UCPh), the session provided a valuable platform for students and lecturers to gain insights into the essential components of field report writing, a crucial assessment for the English for Oral Reporting (LCC402) course.
“This collaboration serves as a testament to UiTM Pahang APB’s commitment to fostering quality educational exchange between public universities,” said a representative from UiTM Pahang.
The webinar was divided into two sessions, with the first focusing on the basic elements of field reports, including methodologies and ethical considerations in research. Dr. Anis also shared research projects from UKM, offering valuable insights to the UiTM students.
An interactive Q&A session allowed students to engage directly with the speaker, addressing research-related questions and receiving insightful responses from Dr. Anis and the CGCT team.
“This initiative aligns with UiTM’s CIDL Collaborative Teaching goals, providing students with valuable learning opportunities,” said the organizers.
The organizers expressed hope that such collaborative efforts would continue to benefit UiTM students and lecturers in the future.
