Academy of Language Studies (APB) continues its consecutive streak of excellence after its graduate was named as one of the 2022 UiTM Best Graduate Award recipients. Nur Zatil Husna Zaharullai, who graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Language Studies (Hons.) Arabic Language for Professional Communication, was conferred with the Tun Fatimah Haji Hashim Gold Medal Award at the 97th Convocation Ceremony for the 2022 Academic Session of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).

Nur Zatil, who is the fourth of five children, has always strived to make her parents proud since her school days. From being named the Co-curriculum and Academic School Leader for her involvement in many extracurricular activities in elementary school to winning a silver medal in an international taekwondo tournament in Bangi, Nur Zatil has grown to be fully dedicated in what she does. In her undergraduate years, she remained steadfast, receiving numerous other accolades including the faculty’s Best Student award and the Vice Chancellor’s Award (ANC).

Since the successful completion of her studies, Nur Zatil has been living her dream as an Arabic news anchor and reporter at a local television broadcasting station, TV AlHijrah. Citing the unwavering support from her family, friends, and the faculty as her source of motivation, she hopes that her achievement will serve as inspiration to other soon-to-be graduates who seek to pursue excellence in what they do.
