KOTA SAMARAHAN – Covid-19 pandemic has impacted everyone worldwide. It has created new norms in every area of life, including how conferences are held. UiTM Cawangan Sarawak, together with ACEC Association and Anhui Medical University, China will organise the 1st Global Summit on Viral-immunology and Antiviral therapy of Covid-19 on 25 to 26 November 2020 at its Samarahan Campus. Chief Minister of Sarawak, The Right Honourable Datuk Patinggi (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg will be officiating the opening ceremony at 10 am on 25 November 2020.
This is the Special Edition of International Conference on Innovative Sciences and Technologies for Research and Education (InnoSTRE). This hybrid conference offers participants a choice either to attend and engage in face-to-face interactions, or utilize an online meeting platform to present and share their research findings. The main objective of this conference is for local and international participants from both academia and industries to present their authoritative knowledge and the most up-to-date research findings related to Covid-19.
According to Conference advisor cum Rector of UiTM Sarawak, Prof Dato Dr Jamil Haji Hamali, the is among the first hybrid conference in Malaysia that provides both virtual and physical platforms to discuss recent innovation in science and technology developments in embracing the Covid-19 pandemic challenges.
The two-day conference will feature several keynote speeches by notable figures from both Malaysia and overseas. More than 50 papers will also be presented by international and local participants over several parallel sessions.
