Pfizer Courtesy Visit to UiTM

19 March 2024 | A courtesy visit and meeting session between Universiti Teknologi MARA and Pfizer was held on the 19th of March 2024 at Bangunan Canseleri Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin, UiTM Shah Alam.

This significant gathering is a testament to the strength of our partnership and the commitment of both Pfizer and UiTM to drive positive change through collaborative research and innovation.

Some of UiTM’s esteemed researchers have worked with Pfizer over the past years, engaging in various activities. This shows that dedication, expertise, and passion are the driving forces behind our shared vision.

Prof. Ts. Dr. Norazah Abdul Rahman, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research & Innovation), said during her welcoming speech that UiTM has the power to make a profound and lasting impact on the world and is confident that, with collective efforts, UiTM will continue to achieve great things.

The primary objective of this meeting is to discuss potential collaborations of UiTM in areas including but not limited to Antimicrobial Resistance, Rare Diseases, and Mental Health.

Earlier, the Pfizer team had the opportunity to meet and greet Prof. Datuk Shahrin @ Sahib Sahibuddin, Vice-Chancellor of UiTM, at his office.
