Melaka 6 February 2024 – The Faculty of Sports Science and Recreation (FSSR), UiTM Shah Alam, successfully concluded an academic outreach series held at SMK Dato’ Dol Said, Melaka. The warm reception from attending students added vibrancy to the event.

 

 

The program aimed to share information and provide exposure about the study programs offered at FSR for those interested in pursuing higher education. A total of 88 sports science stream students, particularly from Form 4, from three schools participated, namely SMK Dato’ Dol Said, SMK Dato’ Haji Talib Karim, and SMK Seri Pengkalan, Melaka. According to Senior Lecturer of FSR, Dr. Mohamad Nizam Mohamed Shapie, such programs are timely and enhance cooperation between FSR, UiTM Shah Alam, and schools. Also present were lecturers from the Faculty of Sports Science and Recreation (FSR), UiTM Shah Alam, including Mr. Muhammad Faizal Kutip, Dr. Cassendra Gilbert, Dr. Maisarah Shari, and Mr. Muhammad Farid Hilmi Aidit, assisted by FSR student, Che Muhammad Aidil Khairulanuar. According to the Principal of SMK Dato’ Dol Said, Mr. Mohd Kamar Othman, students should fully utilize the opportunity by considering FSR as their primary destination for higher education.

The certificate and souvenir presentation session marked the end of the program, conducted by the Principal of SMK Dato’ Dol Said, Mr. Mohd Kamar Othman, followed by the presentation of certificates and souvenirs to the FSR delegation, UiTM, and representatives from each participating school.
