SHAH ALAM, 21st June 2023 – A program entitled “Laporan Program Wajib Universiti Modul Pembangunan Kerjaya: Tamat Pengajian (Finishing School) Pelajar Semester 5” had been successfully conducted with the help of Bahagian Penyelidikan, Jaringan Industri, Masyarakat dan Alumni, Akademi Pengajian Bahasa (PJIMA APB) and the UiTM Counseling Unit. The appearances of 15 individuals from four parties which were, Patriots Publishing Sdn. Bhd, Pertubuhan Keselamatan Sosial (PERKESO), Alumni Look East Policy (ALEPS) and Foster Training and Consultancy together with 230 semester five students had certainly made the program fruitful. Each party came with knowledge to give to these aspiring students as they are reaching the end of their academic journey.

Firstly, Patriots Publishing Sdn. Bhd. shared some guidelines on how to create an impactful resume and cover letter with tips and tricks for job interviews. This is further continued by PERKESO with their knowledge on how to apply for job vacancies using Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems using MYFutureJobs, Malaysia National Job Portal for both employer and employees. In addition, Foster Training and Consultancy gave a talk on “Emotional Intelligence” as a way to handle various emotions that would surely surface in a workplace environment. Lastly, ALEPS shared examples of etiquette and work cultures that Malaysians can follow in their own space and ways of obtaining job or academic opportunities in Master and PhD level in Japan.

In short, all parties applauded these semester five students for all their efforts and wished them the best of luck in their journey of pursuing success.
