14 September 2022: The Administration Office has organized a Financial Literacy Program with BSN at Dewan Ibnu Al-Khatib, Seri Iskandar Campus, UiTM Perak branch.

Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) is a financial institution under the regulation of the Malaysian Ministry of Finance (MOF) which is responsible for inculcating the habit of saving and managing finances wisely among Malaysians.

One of the main purposes of the program is to give advice on the best way to manage all finances to avoid serious indebtedness among staff. In this briefing, the staff is taught how to consolidate old debts to ease monthly payments and early settlement.

Briefing delivered by Mr. Raaj Kumar a/l Subramaniam, Mr. Hasmizi Yahya, and Mrs. Sameran Mohamad, the representatives from BSN. A total of 38 academic and non academic staff attended this session which started at 10.00 a.m. and ended at 12.00 p.m.

It is hoped that with the new knowledge, it encourages financial sustainability among staff as well as boost the happiness index of the UiTM Perak branch.
