1 April 2024 – The Faculty of Business and Management, UiTM is delighted to share the exciting news and honor the remarkable success of Julia Abd Hatim, a remarkable student from Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) in Entrepreneurship. Julia’s remarkable accomplishment in securing the top positions for Anugerah Perusahaan Pelajar at Anugerah Keusahawanan Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi 2023 (AKKPT 2023), with Jue Dried Seafood Enterprise, fills us with pride and joy.

The pinnacle ceremony of AKKPT 2023 was officiated by the Minister of Higher Education, YB Dato’ Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir on 8 March 2024. The biennial awards ceremony aims to recognize students and graduates of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), as well as educators, who have demonstrated excellence and high commitment in advancing the entrepreneurship agenda. The Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) received 213 entries from HEIs across Malaysia, which were subsequently evaluated by a panel of judges appointed from various industries and fields, particularly entrepreneurship. A total of 16 categories were contested; nine (9) from the Main Categories; and seven (7) for the Special Awards for Digital Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

Julia’s remarkable dedication, tireless efforts, and innovative mindset have truly distinguished her, positioning her as a beacon of excellence not only in academia but also in the realm of entrepreneurship. However, every triumphant narrative is underpinned by a team of mentors and supporters who offer invaluable guidance and unwavering encouragement throughout the journey. The faculty express profound appreciation to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sharifah Zannierah Syed Marzuki and Pn Siti Zahrah for their steadfast support and mentorship, which played an instrumental role in Julia’s ability to navigate challenges and reach new heights. Here’s to celebrating Julia’s exceptional accomplishment and looking forward with optimism to the promising future that lies ahead.
