Raya with ETSA: Crescent Moon is a poetry writing and recitation competition organised for all students of the Faculty of Education, UiTM. Among the main objectives of this competition are in scouting and honing students’ poetry writing/recitation skills and talents as well as in exposing all to English as a literary language.

The Raya with ETSA: Crescent Moon poetry competition is divided into two categories, which are: i) Pen It! – poetry writing and ii) Recite It! – poetry recitation. The competition saw numerous raya themed entries submitted and a line-up of seven judges, from among UiTM TESL lecturers, has unanimously selected a total of 13 winners for both categories.

A massive congratulation goes out to all 13 winners of the Pen It! and Recite It! Poetry Competition. The closing ceremony and winner announcement ceremony was live-streamed via YouTube Live on June 11, 2021. Below are the winners for the Pen It! and Recite It! categories.
