The mock audit session focused on evaluating the Program Educational Objectives (PEO), Program Outcomes (PO), academic curriculum, students, staff, facilities, and Quality Management System (QMS).

The panels assessed the readiness of the programs for the upcoming accreditation audit by evaluating various aspects. They examined the alignment of the PEOs and POs with the syllabus. They also evaluated the curriculum to ensure it covers the necessary knowledge and skills required for electrical engineering professionals.

During the evaluation, the panels assessed the effectiveness of teaching and learning methodologies, the competence of the faculty, and the support services provided to students. The evaluation also considered the availability and suitability of facilities, such as laboratories and equipment, to support practical learning experiences.

Furthermore, the Quality Management System was assessed to ensure effective program quality assurance, mainly related to the industry, external examiners, advisory panels, and the Institutional Advisory Panel (IAP).

The mock audit provided valuable feedback and recommendations to enhance the programs further. It served as a preparatory exercise for the faculty, allowing them to identify areas for improvement and address any potential gaps before the official accreditation audit in October.

By undergoing the ETAC accreditation process, UiTM Terengganu demonstrates its commitment to delivering quality education and continuous improvement. The accreditation will not only benefit the university but also the students, as it provides them with assurance and recognition of their educational achievements.

The upcoming accreditation audit by ETAC in October will be a significant milestone for UiTM Terengganu as it strives for excellence in electrical engineering education.
