KOTA KINABALU, 21 February 2025 – UiTM Cawangan Sabah successfully hosted CT MyCS 3.0 on January 24, 2025, at Dewan Ibnu Batutta, continuing its initiative to enhance students’ cost accounting skills. Building on the success of CT MyCS 2.0, this semester’s event introduced a new element: the development of simulation business ideas.
Fifty-two groups from eight classes participated in the event, showcasing their creativity and analytical skills in cost accounting. The day began at 7:30 AM with participants decorating their presentation spaces, followed by a briefing for 15 judges from various faculties.
Students presented their business simulations, answering judges’ questions and honing their problem-solving abilities. Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, with many noting improvements in their confidence and teamwork skills.
“This event significantly boosted my confidence in public speaking and strengthened my teamwork abilities,” said one participating student.
Cash prizes were awarded to the top three presentations from each class, recognizing outstanding performances. The event aimed to encourage excellence and dedication among students, motivating them to improve their analytical and presentation skills.
The organizers expressed their gratitude to all participants for their enthusiasm and commitment, as well as to the panel of judges for their valuable time and expertise.
