Celebrating and Reflecting the Holy Month of Ramadhan: Khatam al-Quran at APB

Amidst the serene ambiance of the APB building, a momentous event unfolded on March 26, 2024, as staff and management gathered to mark the end of the Quranic recitation which was known as Khatam al-Quran. Following the Breaking Fast program, this spiritual gathering served as a fitting culmination of a day filled with communal harmony and reflection.

Khatam al-Quran holds profound significance in Islamic tradition, symbolizing the completion of the sacred text’s recitation, often read during the holy month of Ramadan. At Akademi Pengajian Bahasa (APB), this significant event became more meaningful as the staff and management came together to partake in this spiritually enriching practice.

After the Maghrib prayer, the participants assembled and were guided by the esteemed APB lecturer, Dr. Muhammad Irfan Mohd Rusdi,  who led the recitation. With hearts filled with devotion and minds attuned to the sacred verses, each participant took turns reciting verses from the Quran, culminating in the completion of the entire text.

As the final verses were recited, a profound sense of fulfillment and gratitude filled the gathering, underscoring the significance of this collective endeavour. The participants departed with hearts uplifted and spirits rejuvenated, carrying with them the blessings of this occasion.
