Shah Alam, 9 November 2023 – A Teaching Staff Get-Together event was held by LG240 programme on the 8th of August 2023 from 11.00 a.m to 2.30 p.m at Wyndham Acmar Hotel, Klang. The gathering of LG240 lecturers was held to strengthen the relationship between them
and to celebrate the retirement of 8 lecturers which were Prof. Dr. Othman Ismail, Assoc. Prof. Dr. A. Nalini Arumugam, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Noraida Kasim, Assoc. Prof. Fairoz Hj Salleh, Assoc. Prof. Noreha Taib, Dr. Noor Ahnis Othman, Dr. Noraini Ahmad Basri and Mrs. Asha Latha Bala
Subramaniam. Overall, 33 lecturers, 8 retired lecturers and 3 staff were present to enliven the ceremony. In attendance was the Dean of APB, Prof Ts. Dr. Janudin Sardi and 4 invited guests.

This ceremony aims to celebrate the achievements and contributions of APB academic staff who have shown outstanding performance in various aspects throughout the year. Appreciation and recognition is given to retirees, lecturers and staff who have worked to enhance the name of APB. In addition, through this ceremony it is also hoped to increase the spirit towards cultivating the values of UiTM ESI & I-DART through more progressive interaction and collaboration (collegiality) between APB lecturers and administrative staff.

The ceremony started with a welcoming speech by the Dean of APB, Prof Ts. Dr. Janudin Sardi and ended with the award giving ceremony
APB would like to express their gratitude for the retired lecturers. It gives us great pleasure to say that we recognize, respect, and appreciate all the valuable skills and knowledge all of APB’s dear lecturers have imparted to future leaders, and to thank all of them for their resilient effort and hard work.
