SHAH ALAM, 21st June 2023 – The Blood Donation Drive is an event that was conducted successful by the English Cultural Society (ECLIPSE) in collaboration with Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang at Akademi Pengajian Bahasa Building, UiTM Shah Alam on the 14th June 2023. Dr Muhammad Zaidi Zakaria, the deputy dean for Bahagian Hal Ehwal Pelajar (BHEP) also made an appearance to foresee the event.

With the help of 15 staff including doctors and nurses from Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah and 13 students from ECLIPSE, a total of 54 participants were able to donate blood and were given snacks afterwards to help them regain energy. The main reason for this event is to practice a culture of blood donations to further prompt not just students but also all Malaysians to help decrease the shortage of blood banks in hospitals.

Both ECLIPSE and Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah gave their thanks to everyone who participated and hoped to see the increase of blood donors in the future.
