An Hour for Earth and for Us
Every year from 8.30pm to 9.30pm (local time) on the last Saturday of March, citizens of the world from over 190 countries unite and support Earth Hour. This global initiative is symbolic of our commitment to save planet Earth, our shared common home.
Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and UiTM Green Centre (UGC) are committed to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by strengthening sustainability initiatives to help protect scarce resources through the increase of awareness and involvement among our Keluarga UiTM. To accomplish these goals and in conjunction with Earth Hour 2022, let’s show our support and switch off the lights in our houses and buildings for an hour; starting from 8.30pm to 9.30pm on 26thMarch 2022 (Saturday).
