PUNCAK ALAM, 13th July 2023 – On 11th July 2023, the Postgraduate Program from Universitas Islam Malang (UNISMA), Indonesia visited the Faculty of Education, UiTM Puncak Alam to discuss potential collaborative programs and a joint presentation of research findings following the MoU signing between the Rector of UNISMA and the Vice Chancellor of UiTM in April 2023.

The Postgraduate Program of Faculty of Education, UiTM welcomed the twenty-two delegates from UNISMA, headed by Prof. Drs. H. Junaidi, Vice-Rector for Academic and Cooperation Affairs, Prof. H. M. Mas’ud Said, Director of Postgraduate Program, and Ass. Prof. Imam Wahyudi Karimullah, Head of International Affairs (UNISMA). The delegates expressed their interest in international cooperation with the Faculty of Education, UiTM to improve the quality of education, research and community service.

The meeting was fruitful with discussion on collaborative programs, namely, research and publication, thesis examination, supervision, entrepreneurship, community service, visiting scholar, student and staff mobility opportunities, guest lectures, international conferences and collaborative teaching initiatives.

Dr. Hamimah Hashim, Deputy Dean Academic Affairs, in her welcoming address stated that the Faculty of Education, UiTM have always strived to foster academic excellence, embrace cultural exchange, and nurture the spirit of collaboration. She reiterated that international collaborations are key to preparing students to become global citizens, equipped with the skills, knowledge, and understanding required to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.
