25 September 2020 – Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) seals a memoradum of understanding (MoU) with Yayasan Dakwah Islamiah Malaysia (YADIM) for the development of da’wah. The MoU, which is initiated by the Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies (ACIS) was signed by Emeritus Professor Datuk Ir Dr Mohd Azraai Kassim, the Vice-Chancellor of UiTM, while YADIM was represented by his President Nasrudin Hassan, and was spectated by the Higher Education Minister Datuk Dr Noraini Ahmad to strengthen and solidify the events. Also held during the ceremony were the MoU between YADIM and 11 other institutions of higher learning institutions as well.

As stated by Higher Education Minister Datuk Dr Noraini Ahmad “This agreement of understanding makes YADIM and educational institutions engaged as strategic partners who will develop da’wah in a more entitlement, strategic and focused through careful, mature and rational planning”.
