SHAH ALAM, 6th July 2023 – Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) through College of Computing, Informatics and Mathematics (KPPIM) made an astounding mark by signing two Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and 1 Memorandum of Agreement (MoA). The signing ceremony was led by Yang Berbahagia Datuk Prof. Ts Dr Hajah Roziah binti Mohd Janor, UiTM Vice Chancellor, while Dr Muhamad Khairulnizam Zaini, Dean Industry, Community and Alumni Network (ICAN) KPPIM, represented KPPIM Executive Management.
The signing ceremony saw the materialisation of MoA with Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Indonesia and MoUs with Süleyman Demirel University (SDU) and Isparta University of Applied Science in Turkey, respectively.
The outcome of these MoUs and MoA will result in the collaboration to strengthen and promote academic and scholarly cooperative projects and future collaborative research that are of mutual interest to college, staff, and students of each institution particularly through student exchange. Additionally, it will also look forward to the sharing of expertise in the enhancement of academic teaching and learning, as well as in research areas.
The MoU and MoA signing with academic institutions strongly align with SDG17: Partnership for the Goals. These partnerships can foster educational growth supporting SDG 4: Quality Education. Together it looks into the promotion of synergy and innovation to accelerate the society’s growth. This also aligns with the government’s aspiration to build a Civilized Society.
