Associate Professor Dr Muhammad Hussain Ismail, College of Engineering UiTM, was involved in mentoring the school team for the competition since 2013.

Recently, the SMK Seksyen 9 F1 team was announced as the champion at the national level, and they will represent Malaysia for the World Championship 2021 which will be held virtually in March 2021.

UiTM provides the experts to advise the school team on the automotive aspect. This initiative is a part innovation and creativity to uphold the STEM agenda at schools in Malaysia.
