The Office of Industry, Community, and Alumni Network (ICAN) at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) extends a warm welcome to the Lombok Institute of Technology (LIT) delegation, scheduled for an academic visit from September 9 to 11, 2023. The primary goal is to cultivate and strengthen strategic collaborations between UiTM and LIT.

In a meeting facilitated by ICAN, distinguished members of the LIT delegation and several UiTM representatives actively explored opportunities for collaborative initiatives. The discussion revolved around identifying shared interests and delving into potential collaborative avenues, encompassing research partnerships, student mobility initiatives, collaborative teaching and learning projects, and conferences, among other avenues. Both entities affirm their dedication to mutual empowerment through these collaborative endeavors, aiming to cultivate a globalized and dynamic learning environment for faculty members and students alike.

Following the productive discussions, the LIT delegation engaged in an insightful tour of the laboratories at the College of Engineering, including the Automotive Lab, Hydraulic Lab, Food Technology Lab, Maker Talent for Digital Innovation (MTDI) Space, UiTM-MTDC Technopreneur Centre. The visit provided a first-hand glimpse into the advanced research facilities and innovative projects underway. This visit solidifies the commitment to collaborative initiatives, aligning with the shared vision of excellence in research and education between UiTM and LIT.
