Petaling Utama, August 28-29, 2024 – Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), in collaboration with IEEE Asia Pacific Region 10 (R10) and the IEEE Education Society Malaysia Chapter, organized the “PyCode Adventure: Mastering Python Through Gamified Learning” at the Pusat Kegiatan Guru, Petaling Jaya. This immersive event brought together secondary school students and teachers for an engaging introduction to Python programming.
The two-day workshop provided a robust foundation in Python, focusing on key programming concepts, logical problem-solving, and interactive coding techniques. Through a gamified approach, participants developed dynamic Python projects, which not only enhanced their technical skills but also fostered creativity and enthusiasm for continued learning. Teachers gained valuable strategies to incorporate Python and gamification into their classrooms, enriching their teaching practices.
This initiative emphasized the importance of equipping the next generation with critical STEM skills, promoting technological literacy, and preparing a future-ready workforce. The success of the PyCode Adventure reflects UiTM’s commitment to advancing STEM education in Malaysia.
