A workshop on development of teaching materials for smart classroom has been conducted on 26-28 August 2019 at Smart Classroom B5, Level 4, Menara SAAS UiTM Shah Alam. This workshop was organized by Unit IT Faculty of Applied Sciences with the objective to expose FSG academicians to the current advancement of technology that could help them in delivering their lectures and conducting assessments.
This 3-day program was led by the expert, Dr Zainuddin Ibrahim, Head of Delivery and Learning Development of the Academic Affairs Division UiTM, with the help of other three facilitators, Mrs Erny Arniza Ahamad from Faculty of Computer Science & Mathematics, Mrs Noridah Abu Bakar from Faculty of Sport Science and Recreation and Dr Eddy Hasrul Hassan from Faculty of Dentistry.
On the first day, the participants are introduced to various applications and platforms that are important and useful for developing modules for smart classroom and the following two days they are required to choose a suitable application and platform for their course.
This program is the first initiative by Faculty of Applied Sciences in promoting Education 5.0@UiTM in which a learning is defined as centric ecosystem that is sustainable, balanced and principled, driven by values, powered by intellect and afforded by new, ubiquitous technologies.
