Congratulations to researchers of Universiti Teknologi MARA, Pulau Pinang Branch, for securing funding of RM 613,500.00 from Yayasan PETRONAS for their project, Maternity Care: Pre and Post Natal Care.

Pre and postnatal care are absolutely critical for ensuring the health and well-being of both the mother and the baby. By receiving proper care during pregnancy and after childbirth, women can significantly improve their chances of having a safe and healthy pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum recovery.

This remarkable project aims to provide pre and post-maternity care training to participants, enabling them to obtain certification from the Ministry of Health (MOH) and practice safe maternity care. Through this initiative, UiTM researchers are not only promoting the importance of maternal health, but also empowering B40 women by providing them with job opportunities.
