AMMAN, JORDAN, 8th August 2024 – Attarat Oil Shale Fired Power Plant (APCO) has organized an EduTourism and Higher Malaysia Education Program titled “Pathway to Success: Exploring Malaysia Higher Education”. The program was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Amman, Jordan in collaboration between Education Malaysia-Jordan (EMJ) and Research Mobility Participants.
This program encourages APCO staff and Jordanian students to pursue postgraduate studies in Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). Associate Professor Ts. Ir. Dr. Mohd Najib Bin Mohd Hussain was a speaker and presented on behalf of UiTM to highlight the postgraduate programs offered by UiTM, particularly in Electrical Engineering. The Jordanian delegations were explained about the scholarship program for Muslims in the Middle East. At the end of the session, the potential postgraduate candidates expressed their interest in pursuing studies in UiTM, either through coursework or research.
In the aspirations of being “Globally Renowned, Locally Rooted”, it is provided that this program will benefit Malaysia’s Higher Education Institutions, especially UiTM, to be visible as a top global university.
