(KOTA SAMARAHAN) – The Academy of Language Studies (ALS), Universiti Teknologi MARA Sarawak branch is organising an academic webinar on 25 June 2021 with the theme “What’s so ‘cool’ about HOTS in teaching and learning?”. Among the highlights of the webinar is the application of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in the teaching and learning of English as a Second Language (ESL).

The invited speaker for this webinar session is Dr. Chandra Mohan A/L Vasudeva Panicker, the Head of Language Department from the Institute of Teacher Education Batu Lintang Campus in Kuching. In this webinar, the speaker will share on how HOTS can be incorporated in the classroom setting. This will provide insights to address the pedagogical challenges that educators are facing in the 21st century ESL classroom.
