Faculty of Civil Engineering (FCE) in collaboration with Institute for Infrastructure Engineering and Sustainable Management (IIESM), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Malaysia had organized an Academic Mobility to Dura Technology Sdn Bhd, Chemor, Perak. It was held on 20th and 21st of June 2019.
This event was supported by Concrete Society of Malaysia (CSM). This academic mobility programme is part of Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) work involving Ultra high Performance Concrete (UHPC) Bridge, Bridge monitoring and Modal analysis.
The objectives of this academic mobility programme are as listed below:
a. Research collaboration between academician and industry players in the field of concrete (UHPC in particular), bridge monitoring, Modal analysis and pavement
b. To offer UiTM Staf expertise and facilities to the industry for consultancy purposes
c. UiTM staff can see how the work is done at the factory and also how the pre-fabricated structural element is installed at site as well as networking opportunities during the event.
