JASIN, MELAKA, March 7, 2025 – Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Melaka, Jasin Campus, successfully hosted a webinar titled “Exploring New Business Opportunities” on January 11, 2025, connecting students with industry experts to enhance their entrepreneurial understanding.
The online event, conducted via Google Meet, focused on entrepreneurial development through the subjects Technology Entrepreneurship (ENT600) and Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship (ENT300). It aimed to provide students with real-world insights into the business landscape.
Two prominent speakers shared their experiences: Tuan Jalaluddin Jailani, founder of Kambing Sahabat Enterprise, discussed livestock farming with a focus on goat farming and by-product development. Tuan Iqbal Noramlan, founder of Aqualight Agrofarm, shared his expertise in freshwater fish farming and poultry ventures, highlighting industry profitability and by-product opportunities.
“The speakers’ honest reflections on overcoming challenges and achieving business success inspired students to think critically about their entrepreneurial ambitions,” said a UiTM Melaka representative.
The webinar included interactive Q&A sessions, allowing students to engage directly with the speakers and gain tailored advice. The event was met with enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members.
This initiative underscores UiTM Melaka’s commitment to providing a holistic educational experience by integrating industry expertise into academic programs, preparing graduates for the modern business world.
