PUNCAK ALAM: The second season of the Do-Good Challenge Program, organized by Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in partnership with Good Virtues Co., continues to inspire and challenge students to contribute positively to the community. This year, 10,212 students from various UiTM campuses accepted the challenge, showcasing their dedication through innovative ideas aimed at improving their communities and the environment.
UiTM’s mission is to produce balanced graduates who are human and technology-centric, as well as entrepreneurial in nature. The overwhelming participation in the Do-Good Challenge Program reflects the students’ eagerness to contribute to society, successfully manifesting and embodying this mission across 30 UiTM campuses.
Launched in October 2023, the program began with Campus Roadshows and Classroom Talks in Phase 1. Phase 2 commenced in February, featuring a 2-Day Workshop for selected students. This was followed by Phase 3 in March 2024, where students presented their projects in a Shark Tank Session. Five finalists were selected and each received seed funding of RM8,000 for their projects in Phase 4, the Project Period.
In the finale, the five finalists presented their innovative projects, competing for the grand prize of RM30,000, while the second runner-up received RM15,000. Congratulations to all the winners!
