Seremban, April 23, 2025 – Akademi Kenegaraan Malaysia (AKM) Negeri Sembilan, under the Prime Minister’s Office of Malaysia, in collaboration with Sekretariat Mahasiswa Fakulti Sains Pentadbiran dan Pengajian Polisi (FSPPP), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), had organised the “Seminar Kenegaraan Malaysia MADANI.”
Ms. Ekafarlina Binti Saparuddin, Assistant Director of the Youth Training and Educational Institutions Division, delivered a seminar on the introduction of AKM, with the theme “Pembinaan Negara Bangsa.” The seminar served as a valuable platform for UiTM Seremban 3 students to enhance their understanding and appreciation of the Rukun Negara. “If not practised, the Rukun Negara will become a meaningless document,” she remarked on the importance of practising the Rukun Negara and raised the concern that fewer people truly understand its value.
The event was also attended by. Mr. Sufian Bin Yusof, Director of AKM Negeri Sembilan; Dr. Mazlan Bin Che Soh, Deputy Dean of Student Affairs; Dr. Sharifah Faatihah Binti Syed Mohd Fuzi, Deputy Dean of Academic Affairs; and Dr. Radduan Bin Yusof, Deputy Dean of Research, Industry, Community, Alumni, and Entrepreneurship & Network.
The opening ceremony was officiated by Dr. Mazlan Bin Che Soh on behalf of the Dean, Associate Professor Dr. Nor Hafizah Mohamed Harith, who expressed sincere gratitude for being entrusted with the opportunity to host the program. Following the seminar, a Majlis Jamuan Raya was held for all FSPPP students and staff, attended by approximately 400 guests.
The collaboration between AKM and FSPPP represents strong ties and partnership in nurturing patriotic and responsible citizens for the future of the nation.
