Seremban, May 19, 2025 – Administrative Science Carnival (ASCAR) Career 2025, under the management of Sekretariat Mahasiswa Fakulti Sains Pentadbiran dan Pengajian Polisi (SMF FSPPP) in collaboration with Student Association of Southeast Asian Affairs (SASEA) Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) has successfully organised The Diplomatic Lens, a sharing session with Professor Adjunct Dato’ Syed Mohamad Bakri Syed Abdul Rahman, Undersecretary of Southeast Asia Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Bakri share some insight about the dynamic roles within diplomacy and ministerial affairs. Through this session, he emphasises the need to be equipped with conversational English skills, knowledge of the current issues, the ability to adapt and learn, and to be an emotionally stable person. He’s then further motivated the students by outlining the career progression required to become an ambassador.
This sharing session provided valuable insights for the FSPPP students who are interested in pursuing a career in diplomacy and ministerial affairs.
